Hello Everyone

We have FINALLY dried up enough to see the carts on course and the range open for use!!! Thank you everyone for your patience and understanding as we went through this very trying Spring. We are still trying to catch up on some of the grass cutting but the crew continue to work hard to produce the best course possible under these condition. Please continue to check Facebook for daily updates on carts and range through out the year as rain fall will always dictate the availability of both. Also new this year is the range sign a pro shop counter this sign with let users know if the range is mat only or grass tee for the day, please follow this sign as it is vital to keeping our new range tee in good condition.

Cheers

Hello Everyone

More Rain!! Nothing new in this 2019 season… With the continued rains Sunday night into Monday I can announce now that we will not have carts for this weeks Ladies and Men’s nights again. If you follow our Facebook page you would of seen the interesting fact, that since opening April 26th we have seen rain on 14 of 17 days now and almost 6″ in that time!!! Both nights will still be running with the meals offered for those who wish to walk and play or just join for the meal.

As for Men’s League thank you to the 84 guys who got out Saturday and posted a score for week 1. As announced on the League website anyone who has failed to play yet due to conditions and no carts you will have an extension until the carts are out, in which time you will have 4 days to post a score, with the same applying to this weeks Week 2.

Here’s to hoping for some dry weather

Hello Everyone

So here is a quick update on the course. It was close to being dry and carts out, but after last nights rains it is back to puddles everywhere and soaked. So what does that mean for tomorrows Men’s Opening?? It means that it is going to be a GO!!! I have checked the tee sheet of players who have made times so far and 70 of the 90 are players who will walk the 9 holes, and I am/ will do my very best to find a way to have carts Saturday, but I wouldn’t get hopes up as some holes its not even possible to direct them around areas with out getting stuck and I would also need a million stakes to guide players but an update for carts will come Saturday Morning. As for league play because I can’t lose another week, Saturdays scores will count as the first week of the league, with an extension for cart riders if I can’t get them out for play. (It may make for a funky first week of scores etc. but it is the same for everyone, and this very trying Spring has us doing everything we can to adapt and play some golf)

Cheers

Hello Everyone

The wet Spring just doesn’t want to end…. and with that I am sorry to say that we still can’t get carts out for Men’s night. We will still be open for anyone wishing to walk, and will have the BBQ on for anyone who wishes to join us for Pork Chop night, but at this point even if we staked and roped off areas it would do to much damage to the course. With that being said the league play will not be in affect for Wednesday, and we will either try to add a week at end of season or we will become a 19 week season.

We also have the upcoming Saturday which I am praying we can have and get carts onto course for!!! They are calling for rain Thursday but the original 25mm has since dropped to 10mm and if we can some how skirt the 10mm we may be ready to go!!! If we still can’t get carts out though the day will be a wash and will have no room for rescheduling as we will then be into the May 24 weekend and the busy Summer schedule. Please check here or Facebook for updates on Saturday.

We thank everyone for their patience as we go through this trying Spring, and know that the grounds crew has been working extremely hard to try and make the course as playable as possible, for the ones who have braved the wet conditions!!!

Hello Everyone

Just a quick update on the course and our Men’s opening!! With all the rain we have seen this Spring and the amount received last night the course will remain closed today and we will reassess tomorrow morning if we will be back open for walking. Please check our Facebook page for updates. With that said we are moving our Men’s Opening from this Saturday May 4th to Next Saturday May 11th, as we will not be able to have the course ready for Saturday with the lack of ability to get machines out to cut and also being able to have players in carts playing by Saturday!! This means Men’s league will begin on Wednesday May 8th, followed by Men’s Opening on May 11th. If you need to change your tee time for Opening day with the date change etc. please let me know. I will also still be in the clubhouse today till 3pm for anyone wishing to stop in and pay their Mens league registration.

Cheers
